Hi, I'm Jamil, a certified strength and conditioning coach with over 12 years of experience specializing in Olympic lifts, powerlifting, functional pattern training, and velocity-based training. 

My fitness approach ensures that athletes develop not only their athletic skills but also their strength, power, and speed.I've been coaching track & field for over 15 years, from high schoolers to young guns. Sprints, jumps, throws, hurdles are the things that helped me achieve my physical progress.I wasn't always just a coach, though. I was a high school All-American and NCAA athlete myself, even landed a full ride to Washington State as one of best jumpers to come out of California.

Took a shot at competing professionally, made it to the USA Outdoor Championships in 2009, and came close to making the 2012 Olympic trials. Not making the trials or Olympic team was devastating, but as time went by and through prayer I found my passion through mentoring and leading the youth in my community.

In addition, I spent 10 years coaching high school football, molding defensive backs into absolute beasts. 

I've got a Master's Degree in Sports Medicine & Sports Performance from the United States Sports Academy.

interned at Purdue University, working with their top-tier basketball, volleyball, and soccer teams.

My advanced training approach is tailored to improve athletic performance for each individual athlete and team.

The Pure Speed Program is designed to help athletes of all ages and sports improve athletes rate of acceleration and max velocity (Top Speed). This program can help you accelerate faster, reach your top speed quicker, and dominate your sport. The program has benefited football, basketball, track & field, and volleyball players.

Whatever sports you’re into we have creative solutions and plans that help to generate a specific movement pattern athletes must master and execute to perform at the highest level to be successful. We specialize in all sport specific movement exercises to prepare and develop athletes' for any and all sports.

IAthletes need to produce force and power at a fast rate in order to perform at the most competitive level of their sport. The strength/resistance program is guaranteed to improve strength, power, and physical aspects of each athlete.

I'm not just a coach, I'm a sculptor of champions. With over 16 years in the game, I've seen it all and trained the best. As a former All-American athlete and state champion, I know what it takes to reach the top.

I've coached athletes to Division 1 scholarships at top schools like UCLA, USC, and Oregon. I've even trained athletes for the XFL, NFL, and CFL combines.

  • Certified Strength Coach with NSCA (2017-Present)

  • 15+ student-athletes earned Division 1 scholarships

How often should I train per week?

The ideal training frequency depends on your individual goals and fitness level. Here's a general guideline:

. Athletes competing or practicing:

Aim for 2-3 times per week for optimal performance gains.

3 times is ideal, but 2 times still offers progress.

1 time per week helps maintain existing fitness levels.

Performance Fitness Class:

Most clients attend 3 times per week.

Clients with specific performance goals may train up to 5 times per week.

Remember, the more you train, the better the results you'll see.

What if I miss a training session?

Missing an occasional session is completely normal. Just pick up where you left off at your next session. However, consistently missing sessions can hinder your progress.

How can I determine the right training frequency for me?
